Rear seat power points

I have a 2008 F350 CC FX4 and just discovered it doesn't have any rear seat power points. Does anyone have suggestions how to get power back there for the kids stuff (portable DVD player, PSP, etc.)?

Thanks!

You must have the front 60/40 bench seat, because with the captain’s chairs and center console I have a power point on the back of the center console. I also have the rear DVD entertainment system so that might also be why it has the rear power point hook up.

I'm interested in this too. I'd like to install a power point or two in my bed (camper shell to be installed) so I can get some kind of heat for the dogs during the winter months.

Dobies don't do well in the super cold! Also keeps with wife from wanting them in the cab!!!!

Yup - I have the 40/20/40 bench seat. My old truck (2005 F150 FX4 SC ) had the same seating but had a powerpoint and cup holders in the middle in back by the floor. Not so this time around.

I bought a three point power point from autozone for about $9. I connected it to the rear portion of the front middle seat facing the rear seats. It is mounted between the seat and the floor so it won't get bumped. It was the only place I could find where it wouldn't be in the way or get kicked. I ran the wire under the front passnger seat to the fuse box in the kick panel.
I also added a powerpoint to the bed. I bought a single plug at wal mart that fits perfectly in the small hole in the corner stake pocket of the bed.

Now I have power to the rear seats and to the bed of the truck. (Make sure you connect them to a wire that is only hot when the truck is on or you'll forget something is on and you'll drain your battery.)

My AutoZone was out of stock of those so I picked one up at Radio Shack. I was thinking about mounting it under the rear seat on top of the fold out floor. It has a disconnect so I could unhook it to fold out the floor. I may look into mounting under the front seat as well.

If I mount it under the rear seat, I was thinking about tapping power from the amp/subwoofer behind the rear seats. Anyone see an issue with this?

I endeded up installing it underneath the front seat near the floor and ran the wiring to upfitter switch #4. I'll take pics of the install if anyone ways to see it.
