Red Brake Calipers ?

Why do some trucks have red brake calipers? Are they different than the non colored ones?

Just curious..since my truck has red but everyone I know with a 08 has plain ones. They think I painted mine but I tell them they are from the factory.

Very interesting, mine is an 08 and the calipers are not red so it's not an 08 thing. Maybe it's an F250/F350 thing. Is yours an F250?

My truck is a 2008 F350 SRW 4x4...The other truck I saw was a dually 4x4 with the red calipers.

This link has a Blk Dually w/ stacks. He has red as well. Page 9 about 3/4 of the way down.

http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/6-4...-see-em-9.html

My service manager thinks certain packages had the red calipers..I want to know what package.
