Does anyone know when the last program was released for the 08' 6.4 PSD?
Reason I ask is a co-worker and I have the same exact truck, same configuration. Only difference between the two are colors. He claims he was getting about 10mpg with his truck and *****ed to the dealer about it. He also claims that they reflashed his truck and now he's getting 4-5 more mpg's.
I have to waive the bull**** flag here but if anyone knows more about this, please speak up.
By the way; I contacted my local dealer and they claim the last flash was in Feb or March of last year. Nothing new available to date.
It looks like the most recent flash was released in late July or early August of '07.
It covered transmission shift quality issues, unacceptable engine RPM ramp rate during regen with vehicle in park and foot off break and a few other things. It also added a few new message center informational messages such as "engine warming", "stop safely now", and it also will tell you when it is in a regen.
It was not a recall, so they probably will not give it to you for free unless you complain of a related issue in which case it is covered under warranty by both new vehicle limited warranty coverage and emissions warranty.
The related TSB is 07-17-3.

Any recommendation on an appropriate "related issue" to complain about? Mine seems to be performing like most trucks on here (the ones without problems) so I don't see that I have any real complaints, but I'd sure like to have the message center updates.
