Ride or handling complaints

I've had it with the '03's with the 6.0L . I'm looking into 2008 F250 C/C 4X4's and was wondering if anyone has any strong complaints about the ride or handling of these trucks. Looking forward to getting into a truck that doesn't shake me to death everytime I hit a bump....small or large.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

My '08 F250 Supercab Longbed PSD rides pretty rough. Shakes me to death. Thought it was my truck needing to have tires rotated and balanced; haven't done it yet, but compared to my last three trucks (two Nissan Frontiers and one Titan, all three custom lifted), I've never had such a rough ride.

I've put 2200 miles on my 08. My last was an 01 250 5.4.

This truck rides like a dream. The old 250 would skip across bumps in a turn, this on glides over them. It rides almost like a 150 it is nice.

I had a 95 f 350 cc, a 2000 f 350cc and now a 2008 f350 cc ( I know I really like to branch out). This is by far the best ride out of all of them. It rides better than my wifes 04 expedition. You can't really compare an f 250 to a nissan or a toyota they are completely different trucks.

I had an 04 F250 SD gasser and just purchased a 08 F250 diesel XLT 60th Anniversary and it rides sooo much better.

It would be far cheaper to fix your suspension ..proper shocks wil give you a good ride, what are you using? A 08 isn't going to get anywhere the mpg your truck is getting!

Compared to the old leaf spring front super duty's the new chassis is MUCH better. My '08 rides, handles, and especially turns alot better than my '00. Some may think it is stiff compared to a half ton (or less) but they have to realize this truck is built for serious payload and towing capacity not just light duty use.

Lets see, you have a 3/4 ton truck with load range D tires, heavy suspension, and an engine that weighs over a ton itself. You are not going to get a great, smooth ride over bumps. My wife's Frontier, with all the off-road upgrades, does not ride much better. My 3 Chevy trucks did ride better, but they towed 50% and 25% less (1500 and 2500x2). On the open road, you could not ask for a nicer ride. Decide for yourself and go take one for a test drive. with the market how it is they may even give it to you overnight to try!

That's what I figured. Both my Frontier and Titan were wicked smooth compared to my F250. Shakes and rattles like no one's business. But... I love my F250. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Very interesting. I am curious about side to side weakness. Notice any additional side-to-side motion, or looseness, making turns since installing? Did it lower or raise your truck?

Going from a 92 F-250 to a 10K 08 F-350, the difference in ride quality is stunning. I was expecting a buckboard ride, and was surprising how well the new ones handle. Like a car! In fact it rides slightly smoother than my wife's 03 TDI Jetta. For a truck of this size it's simply amazing!

Ride Quality

Comparing my 08 to my 2000 F250, there is no comparison with the on the road performance it is much better, however on dirt roads it is much worse than my 2000. Rear end hop climbing and descending hills is lousy in 2WD.
