rust warranty - Diesel Forum

I was wondering if you think ford would honor the rust warranty on my tailgate. the drivers side tailgate hinge mount is pretty rusted and its to the point where its nearly impossible to remove the tailgate. this is the part where the tailgate mount slide into the notch on the drivers side. passenger side is fine. otherwise it operates normally. what do you think?

here is your warranty info, as long as it isnt caused by your own doing, or road salt, it looks like you're ok

they are probably going to screw my since i plow, no way to hide the mount either

if you've had the truck through the winter, and they salt the roads, then good luck. worst they can do is say no

yeah, had the truck for over a year now, through the winter, i'm will check monday, see what they say.
