Sirius Question

I have the navigation system with the Sirius Satellite radio option. If I push the Seek up/dn buttons on the radio itself (in Sat radio mode), the channels advance one station at a time. If I push the Seek button on the steering wheel, the channels only scroll through the current presets. I want to be able to use the steering wheel's seek button to move up and down through all the channels one at a time and not through the presets. Is this possible?

Try holding the steering wheel Seek button down for a second or two and then release it, or just whatever length of time it takes holding it down until it goes to the next station rather than the preset.

I forgot to mention I had tried that too. Holding down the steering wheel seek button just scrolls through the channels very quickly. As many times as I tried it, I couldn't make it seek fewer than 3 stations.

That was a reasonable idea, though. In other cars I've driven, holding down seek until you hear a beep takes you to the next station. Just hitting it once takes you to the next preset. That doesn't seem to work in the Ford, however.

I'm having a tricky time scanning for stations and the only trick I learned was to hold down the seek button until there is no sound at all, and then immediately release it. So far I've been lucky to have it go to the next strong station. It is a pain in the butt to search the entire spectrum in that fashion.

I have the same issue. I have noticed that on the radio, the buttons just say Seek (up or down). On the steering wheel, their labeled l<Seek>l (up or down). Won't be a problem after next week. I'm replacing it with an aftermarket unit.
