For those of you unhappy with your paint

I have seen several people complain. I was able to get ford to do something. Here is the sheet from my body shop with everything that they did to my truck.
The truck looks phenomanol now. To me it looks like the truck should have.

So basically you had your truck repainted by a body shop (not Ford) because you were not happy with the quality of the factory paint job, or you did not like the original color of your truck? Who paid for the work, Ford? If so, how did you convince them to do that?

Do you have any pictures of the truck after the paint job?

Exactly

if you see page 1, it says Ford Warranty on it. The truck was not 1 color, the paint was not sprayed even, and did not cover the truck, and was there for defective.

no. i picked out the truck i wanted, but it was on the dealers other lot. I was out of town, doing navy things when it showed up, and the wife picked it up in the near dark. It was home for a few days before i started to notice issues.

I just noticed on my truck that the paint is very thin around the front and rear wheel wells. Right where the flare stops and the body begins. You could only see it in the direct sun. Now that I no its there I can see it plain as day. Now I just have to make time to get it in. My buddy at the dealership was surprised too see it.

Stymie, I sent you a PM. But I would like to ask if you have any advise to give in dealing with your dealer about getting the paint fixed. I just recived mine after ordering and is the same color with just about the same problems. Any insight would be helpful.
