Trailer Turn and Brake lights don't work

My truck has lights that work as does my trailer. However, connect the two and the trailer brake and turn signals don't work. I checked at the plug and get nothing from there except brake, charge, and running lights. I know there are 2 locations for fuses but haven't found any bad ones yet. What do I do now? Is there a single place that would control both sides at once? If there's a fuse under the hood that's bad, there'd have to be two of them bad. I've got a long trip coming up this weekend and need some fast assistance.

Thanks!

Thanks wp6529 and MPD56! Although I thought I had checked that fuse (missed it by one place... should have rechecked), that was indeed the problem. You guys have saved me lots of troubleshooting time. I am in the Air Force and am moving my family next week and couldn't figure out the thing but was willing to chance the trip with no trailer lights because I'm running out of time. Because of you two, it only took me 5 minutes to read the forum, 5 minutes to fix it, and 5 minutes to update this! Safe again!

Per my 2009 diagram, which should be the same, both trailer turn signal/stop/hazard relays are fed from 25A fuse F34 which is listed as being located in the "battery junction box" under the hood near the brake master cylinder. The trailer relays are also listed as being in this location. The parking light and charge relays are fed from fuses F42 and F44.

My 2008 diagram shows the same as wp6529 wrote. The control signals to both relays(20&21) comes from a smart junction box (SJB 11-3), so if both relays are working, I would suspect fuse F34. Let us know what you found.

F34 was it! I checked the one next to it in error. I wasn't planning on rechecking it. You've saved me lots of time. Thank you.

I'm having issues with my running lights on two of my trailers, everything works on both except for running lights. Checked receptacle and no power on that terminal.Manual shows location 55 under the hood as Trailer tow parking lamps, but nothinig for running lights and this looks like a relay, so I can't tell if it is bad. Is this the relay/fuse responsible for my running lights and if so how do I test to see if it bad before purchasing a new one.

08 Super Duty

Thanks in advance,
Imspuds

Imspuds: I don’t have my diagram or manual with me at this time. But will look later if no one responds. I believe that fuse F42 supplies the power to the trailer running lights and the relay. Without the information beside me, if the fuse (F42) is good and you suspect the relay, there might be another relay the same be side it and you can swop them and verify that the relay is working.

Guys i have 2005 F250 and a haulmark trailer, for some reason the LEFT Tail-light on the trailer for Brake and Blinker doesnt work, running lamps work fine and right side is also fine.

I've replaced both Relays under the Hood and i also inspected other fuses like F34 under the Steering wheel, looks fine.

What em i missing??

get a plug-in tester to fit whatever connecter is on your truck first, verify at that point first, that's how i found I wasn't getting juice to my trailer. after I got all the lights on the tester to light up at the connector, I was good to go.

Do the flashers work, or only on the right side?
Brake and blinker (flasher also) are the 2nd filament in the bulb--sounds like a bad bulb to me.
