Warranty fight with dealer

At 47K miles I experienced a front brake caliper failure. At 53K miles I experienced a rear brake caliper failure. Caliper replacement covered by warranty. In both instances Ford said everything on the opposite side had to be replaced as well so "everything would be the same". No warranty coverage saying consequential replacement not covered. $1000 total out of pocket. I've raised it to the dealer GM level. They are offering me $200. I'm saying BS.

Truck is not used hard. Hell, its not used enough. I mentioned to the dealer that my buddy has an older Silverado HD with 75K and is still on original pads!

My warranty will time out this Dec. long before hitting the 100K mileage coverage. I'm pretty nervous about hanging on to the truck.

I've told them this isn't a warranty issue it's a Ford issue, the $200 doesn't cut it, and I want a face-to-face meeting.

Opinions/suggestions?
