Weights

Hi. Can you guys tell me the empty weights of your trucks. You and fuel not counting.

Say whether it's an F-250 or 350, drivetrain, 2 or 4x4, cab style, etc. 450 guys can play, too, but more interested in 250/350 SRW owners.

Also, what is an F-250's GVWR? The F-350 is 11400 if I recall correctly.

Thanks!

For 2008 models:

It varies based on engine, wheelbase, and drivetrain (4x4/4x2). Minimum is 8,800 for a regular cab 4x2 5.4L. Max is 10,000 for a CrewCab 4x4 PSD.

Assuming PSD and 4x4, it's 10,000 for both CrewCabs and the SuperCab longbed. It's 9,800 for the SuperCab shorty, and 9,600 for the regular cab.

I've got an 08 Crew Cab King Ranch 4x4with the following options: Auto tranny,Moonroof, tailgate step & handle, front captains chairs, 6 cd changer, upfitter switches, PTO, Camper package, Lin-X in bed.

When weighed with 1/2 tank of fuel the weight was as follows: Front axle 4900lbs, Rear Axle 3260 lbs, total truck 8180 lbs. According to the door sticker, as it left the factory (i.e without the Lin-x) the curb weight was 8119 with full tank and no passengers or cargo. The max weight of occupants and cargo for mine is 1881 lbs.

Thanks. I wonder if I read the 11400 GVWR wrong....it was on an F-350 Crew Cab.

No. My first reply above was only for an F-250. F-350 SRW is higher. Again, assuming 2008 4x4 and PSD,

CrewCab long bed = 11,500
CrewCab shorty and SuperCab long bed = 11,400
SuperCab shorty = 11,200
Regular cab = 11,000
