What would you like to have ........?

I know for me I always have to / want to/ need to change things that are suitable for my use! Cab lights that are bright enought to see what you are doing in the cab! Dash lights that are alot dimer. Seats that don't go back nearly far enough! I have other things that I will have to change but what you do to a design?

I absolutely love my truck... but there are a couple of things that I think are just foolish that it doesn't come with. The number one thing that sticks out in my mind is a rear view mirror with the temp and direction on it. Secondly.... how about a backup camera that displays on your radio screen when in reverse (like the new tundra). A built in harddrive in the radio for all your music. The option to have a fifth wheel hitch installed as a factory option. And thats about all I have..... so simple to please!

Better back up lights, outlets in the bed, better rust protection for all componets, have all mirrors to heated, and an actual all terrian tire when you order all terrian from the factory.

Better location for the key in the steering column and more storage in the dash if you have the trailer brake controller.

adjustable arm rest rather than too low console lid

headlights that come on when wipers are 'on'

glovebox lamp

two or more heating levels for the heated seats like the F-150

sliders on the sun visors

tailgate open indicator, can't tell from cab with some tonneau covers

factory installed remote start

power full width lowering rear window instead of the power slider

real instrumentation with accurate display in engineering units including the oil pressure

display of percent flow of the DPF, indication when regen is happening; ability to delay regen and the ability to initiate regen

I use to ask for speed sensitive delay wipers; and they are now! They don't vary on the first or longest delay setting but the other settings will get a progressively shorter delay the faster you drive. Not in my owner's manual but found in the service manual.

So, maybe the headlamps now come 'on' with the wipers 'on'? not indicated in the owner's manual or the service manual but they work this way on a Crown Vic so why not a SuperDuty? Come to think of it I don't think I've had to slide a ball cap on the dash during the rain..... Yea, I know I could just turn them 'on' but if Ford is going to call it Autolamp then they should get it right....in the interest of safety.

ditto other poster on factory installed fifth wheel hitch

I would also like zerks on all my front suspension lubricated joints..... or a 200K mile warranty

Only one complaint, the key location is retarded. Takes me 5 min to find the hole. But maybe it's me, I have the same problem with my wife.

I'm with all of you on this Topic. I really like my new 08' 6.4 but what happened to the little clip board clip on the center console? Also bring back the front hood inside pad / liner? Why in the heck did Ford delete that one? Plus bring back the front cup holders that slide out of the dash? How can a 50 grand truck not have decent cup colders......
And yes put the darn light back in the glove box!

Cheers from Colorado friends~
Leo
P.s. Hauled cattle for the first time up from Denver yesterday back to the mountains here in Silverthorne with the new rig. It pulled like a champ! and averaged around 13 MPG!
Much happier now over my 06' 6.0 so far so good!
