I agree completely. You really need to get into the throttle for it to respond. Even a more mild tuner like the Juice Edge/Attitude will help dramatically improve the initial throttle response/feel.

I stalled one several times on the test drive ('04 IIRC). Trying to start in 2nd. I had just test drove a CTD with a 6 spd and 4.10s.

Ended up buying a big block Chevy. 0-spool up and i can blow the doors off my buddys DRW 6/0/torque shift. even towing. After that he kind of puts a hurting on.

Anyway more fuel (ie a programmer) is all I can offer as a suggestion.

After busting a whopin' 1,000 miles the truck is actually opening up just a bit (even sounds different). It does feel a bit better and if you roll into the throttle it does pick up pretty good. Time will tell and I think after a full year I may add a Spartan or the like..
