Winter Tires

Hey everyone i was wondering if any of you know of a really good winter tire that's big enough for stock size 275/70/R18 tires. If they could be studded that would be an awesome bonus. Another thing...Is their a winter tire that could come in a 35x12.5R18 size. The reason why i ask is that i rolled my truck with my toyo Mts... which i found out are not good on glare ice haha. Thanks everyone.

On my work truck the Cooper Discoverer ST studded are absolute monsters on the snow, of course they are removed in the spring. The more siping a tire has the better traction on hard pack snow and ice, something all mud terrains are lacking. Many great choices but I am very impressed with the Coopers. Good luck...Jeff

On edit: Scratch my earlier response. Cooper still makes the S/T. It's in the drop-down menu for "Select Another Tire"

Goodyear also has their new Duratrac available in the stock 275/70/18 size. They can be studded as well. I haven't tried a set yet but they look like a great aggressive winter tire.

I ran the studded Cooper M+S on my 1997 F250 and absolutely loved them. I usually got two winters out of them. After the second winter, I pulled out the studs and ran them out for the rest of their tread life.

I run nothing but Cooper on my vehicles now.
