My truck is a job 2 2008 F350 FX4 which comes with this system. I have 37" tires. I DID NOT transfer the transmitters from each factory tire/rim to the after market rims and tires. I really would like to disconnect this system on the truck dash readout. Any idea's? THANKS!,Robert.
No way to disconnect the TPMS system, as it is required by law on certain, if not all new vehicles now. You will either have to install the sensors in the new wheels or live with the light.

Do all the 08 trucks have this feature (dont know what a job 2 is)? I aired my tires down to 20psi to drive on the beach and get a low tire pressure light. Whats up with that? Robbie

GOOD POINT !!! Thanks,Robert. </div></div>
Sounds like something to go wrong the first time you change your tires. I'll stick with the good old $5 tire guage and walk around the truck every now and again.
i have a job 2 truck this feature was there already. i have 37"s we just swapped the bands which are wrapped around the drum of the wheel we had a little hassel since the wheels are 22"s. GM has a better idea ( my opinion)our H3 has them in the valve stem. wish i had this in my trailer tires!

I think Job #1 trucks do not have the tire pressure sensors. Job #2 trucks have the sensors. I believe, but not positive, Job #2 trucks are trucks produced after July 30.
I don't mind all that much about the sensors, although I don't case for them being banded around the entire wheel. Would have liked to see them done with a standard valve stem type...which would less severely limit my wheel choices.
