2008 F250 Mirror Upgrade

I have been reading for weeks on this forum and others and all data and just cant find the info I need. I am upgrading my 2008 f250 xlt from power paddle mirrors to power fold/telescope tow mirrors. I know I need to add switches and bezel. My question is about the wiring, is there a pigtail to add on to the existing harness or does the entire harness have to be replaced. Any help, suggestions and part numbers are much appreciated.

Yes I installed the mirrors, power fold- power extend (non- functioning)! nobody down to an engineer with ford can tell me what i need to know. Beyond running a new wiring (factory $900)harness through the cab to make the functions work. There are 19 different wiring diagrams for and 08 f250 truck. Mirrors bolted on and plugged in for blinkers and running lights. I just manually fold and retract them, no big deal. They do look great!

I have the schematics broken down for each wire from Old harness to where it connects within the New harness Pig Tails. It is in a powerpoint slide which helped me figuring out the wiring for them. I have everything working but the telescoping in/out and the power fold. I know there is a special Relay only from the ford dealer ($119) you need to power the telescoping and folding functions. However, the relay mount is not availlable on the after market scene nor can it be purchased from the dealer. The connector number is C4037. If you want the Powerpoint slide let me know.

That would be great and much appreciated! So there is a pigtail that plugs into the existing harness that adds the extra functions on your switch bezel? Thanks so much for your help!

Rick 1067. I'm looking for this information also. Is there anyway I could get the powerpoint information you were referring to? I am replacing the normal power paddle mirrors with the towing mirrors with blinkers and power telescoping/folding. I am totally lost on where to begin. Anyway, this powerpoint seems like it would really get me started!

tow mirror upgrade

We have a 2000 and 2002 superduty that had the tow mirrors, however, we are upgrading to the 2008 mirrors. Do you guys have the color codes to splice the old to the new? And, since ours do not have the amber turn signals, how did you hook those up. Any help is appreciated!

This company sells a complete kit. They will not sell just the wiring though. http://www.dfuser.com/catalog/2008-f...7-f250f450.php
I would rather buy the mirrors, wiring, switches, etc. locally then pay shipping and thru the nose brokerage fees. So if anyone has info on what wire does what, I'm also VERY interested.
