I am considering installing a set of 2" 6061-T6 billet aluminum (lifetime warranty) spacers on my truck to level the front end. I am told that this kit does not require new (or extended) shocks and it will not negatively affect the ride or handling. The alignment is claimed to still be within factory spec after installation. The factory warranty is not supposed to be affected either. This kit would be installed on a 08 F350 4x4. Please let me know any thoughts or experiences you may have about this type of leveling kit. Thank you!!!

your caster will change; whether it will remain in spec or not, I'm not sure but I bet it will be fine. Not sure on the 08s but the 05s - 07s were on the line to begin with and with a spacer, some people noticed excessive bumpsteer and other issues, but then a lot didn't notice any difference either. You should be able to get away with your stock shocks. Bilstein makes a nice / killer shock for a 2" front lift that'll work well should you need / want new shocks. It'll ride better with them.
Best thing to do is just install them, get an alignment and see what they say. Most likely, you won't have to do anything, other than adjust the steering wheel.

if these are what i think they are and go under the factory spring mount, then the axle will be shifted over to the drivers side unless you get a new track bar drop bracket.
and unless you have a fx4 truck (the shocks are a little longer for some odd reason and work well with the leveling kits) i wouldnt use the factory shocks.
Even with the FX4 option the front shocks (don't know about the rears) are the limiting factor as to how much articulation there is. They top out (very hard on shocks) before anything else in the front suspension. I found this out while installing my F550 springs. I jacked the front up and let the axle droop (spring wouldn't come out). Then I disconnected the shocks which let it droop some more (still not enough). Next I disconnected the sway bar end links which finally let it droop enough to get the old springs out.
If street driven the stock shocks will work ok though. Just don't get your front end airborne while playing around.

While speaking with lift manufacturers I was told the 05/06/07 front ends only have 3 degrees of caster and that a simple 2.5" spacer leveling kit would take it all out.

Of course they're gonna tell you that, they want you to buy the lift. I have 2.5 inch spacers and have had it checked afterwards for alignment and all is fine. No drivabilty issues or bump steer.
