285/70/18 works out to be about 33.5x11.5 so its gonna be tight but it might fit, if i were you i'd get a leveling kit then it would fit for sure

will not be an issue. I am running 315-70-18 (36x13x18) and only rub on full lock backing up. No leveling kit required. (looks great also!!!)

I can run 80 but i do not do it running empty. I run 50 and the darn low air light is always on on the dash. Dealer tod me they might be able to recalibrate them. We will see. I had a slight drop in milage but I also have about an 8% difference on the speedo. I LOVE the look. and at 3860 lbs each they will be fine when I get my camper. Do you happen to have a copy of your Consumer info sheet that came with your truck showing the Center of gravity?

no i dont have a copy,i think in the owners manual there is something about recalibrating but i think anything below 65 youre hooped on that. how much of a milage drop do you think your seeing.

not enough to care. I am guessing 1 or 2 MPG But remember none of us bought $50,000 dollar 9000 pound trucks for the millage. If I need to make good milage I will ride the harley.

I havent paid for fuel in over 11 years, get my fuel from the rigs.I was just wondering, but thanks. Its just a pain to stop all the time to refuel.Ive been looking at the Spartan setup so that will help with that issue.
