Alarm Problem on 2008 F350

I have a 2008 F350 that I had a Clifford Matrix 50.5X Alarm put in. It also has Remote start. Installed Tuesday Dec. 4th and on Friday Dec. 7th the remote start quit. Took truck back in on Tuesday Dec 11th and they said that it dumped the key codes. They reprogram it and today Dec 13th it did it again. They are going to try to find out why it is doing this but I thought that I would see if anyone here has any ideas. I will give them until Tuesday Dec 18th to fix it and if they can't I might have them take it all back out and get my money back.
Any ideas why it might be doing this?
Don

Re: Alarm Problem on 2008 F350

Sounds more like an install issue to me. I had a Clifford 3.5 in my '02 for 3 years with all the bells, etc and it never failed. It took the installer 8 hours to complete the install, but worked like a champ.

Re: Alarm Problem on 2008 F350

When you say the remote start quit what do you mean? Is it not working at all when you press the button? Does it try to turn over and not start?

Re: Alarm Problem on 2008 F350

I would guess that either it is losing power to the control module so that the keycodes are getting deleted or reset to default, or the control module is bad. I would have them install another control module to see if that is the problem.
