Anybody convert to HID's yet??

I get the truck in and drive it with the stock lights on at night first. They are leaps and bounds above the ones in my '04 F-350.

Well sorry to bring this thread back to life but to whoever has done this HID mod...how is the cutoff for the beams? I am guessing since the reflector is square it would have a decent pattern? Let me know!

yes these are the Bi'halogen kits... so its a HID low beam and halogen high beam...

tru bi xenon kits are useless in my opinion because the ballasts require a few seconds to fire up so if your using them to flash they dont realy work that well...

a tru bi xenen kit has 4 ballasts and 2 HID bulbs in 1

completely plug N play.. no cutting at all... they have OEM style connectors so its super easy to hook up...

Check out the Beamer HID kits. They are true HID. The bulb has a magnet in it and when you switch from high to low beam the bulb changes the angle it is in the housing and there is NO delay.

i see those go out all the time...

a tru bi xenon kit is 2 hid bulbs in 1 and 4 ballasts.. those with a magnet will eventually wear out....

i get a lot of people complain about those kits which is the reason i do not sell them.... they are def cheaper then a tru Bi/xenon but not worth it in my opinion

Well Raul, I sell the Beamers and have sold many many sets. I have only replaced a couple of balasts the bulbs are flawless.

well im just saying what i have seen with them... i dont know which kits you have but the ones im talking about are from customers that bought them from ebay (or similar) and have had nothing but problems...

yours could be better than those and if they are i appologize... just me personally have never liked those...

These are the "Beamers" Brand. Beamers They seem to be doing great in -35 to 40 weather also which I know is an issue with some.

I dont have a cutoff picture but I very very rarely get flashed with mine on the highway. And when I do........ Man do I feel sorry for them when I flash my actual highbeams you can see their pupils
