Has anyone installed, or had installed, the factory body side moldings? My truck didn't come with them and I was wondering if they just stick on, or are there rivets or something. Thanks
mine did not come with it cause I forgot to order them. They were on my 07 and really sets it off. The part I believe was like ave 40. a piece..plus paint and install..350-400. Much cheaper if bought when ordered. NOW black or chrome ones are about 125-150 insatlled aftermarket..Im reserching this. Jeff

You can order them from the dealer or the online parts wholesalers (www.Powerstrokeshop.com, for example). But PLAN to get them painted before installation, color-matched or not.
I tried, and tried, and tried to get four moldings that would at least match each other in color (let alone the truck), with no success. I didn't realize until they were on the truck and once you remove the adhesive, it's no good. I had to strip all the adhesive, buy new double-sided tape ($40 a roll), put it on, and get them painted ($50) which added to the cost considerably.
