I have the ARE Z-series, my truck doesn't have the step, but they had to use the trim piece for the step tailgate because the regular piece doesn't fit the 2008 regular tailgate. Overall I'm very happy with my ARE, if you buy one make sure you look it over very well before letting them install it on your truck. I found 4 or 5 paint flaws on mine the first time. Also check the rear glass frame for fitment. Also if you get the Z series make sure the side glass closes flush with the canopy. The dealer had to replace my glass because it wouldn't close flush with the side, it had a 1/2" gap at the bottom corner. Their customer service is topnotch, their quality control is ok.

I had the windows replaced on my Z series once already and they still don't close completely and leak water. Besides that I really like the shell.
