Center seat console adaptions 2008 F350

Would like your suggestions, pictures on how to make the most of the front center seat area of a 40/20/40 F350. Plan to leave the top arm rest and replace the bottom seat with perhaps a add on or homemade item that could include an inverter and security area.
thanks

Ive had my own ideas eyepod but allways run into time issues, one was to take the entire center seat out, and build a wooden structure the same height as the back of the seat when its folded down but all the way up to the dash. I would have it made with a lid ontop where the seat back was and drop down section for the rest up to the dash.I want to put my power inverter in the bottom(vented of course), and the drop down section would be for installing my CB,Icom, and maybe a cd changer and whatever else that might fit. I want to either have the same wood trim as the truck or color matched to the inteior.Wife thinks it would be too much but I dont remember her name on the payments. Anyways it would be nice to here from others who would have ideas or pics as I have seen some pretty good fabs on this site.Good day sir.

Some of the same thoughts I have. Hope to get some feedback and pics of someone who has already created the wheel.

Actually, I beleive that the center seat is all one piece, meaning that if you remove the bottom portion, the seat back, or fold down arm rest is attached to the bottom.

I think you can pretty much do a strait swap out for a fold down center seat with a factory center console. I think they use the same mounting holes etc...
