Dieselsite External trans filter

Here are some pics of my recent ex. trans filter install. It was quick and easy. It is mounted on pass side almost even with the cooler return on trans. I used one hole existing in frame and drilled one 1/4" new hole. Also has opt. pressure guage so I know when to change filter. Entire install took about 1 1/2 hrs. Just because I'm picky and didn't want the lines making noise.

Nice install but was wondering if those oil lines are too close to the exhaust pipe?

The existing cooler lines are pretty close to the exhaust as is. The stainless braided are farther away than the factory lines. Where they tie-in to the cooler return line is the closest spot, I tweaked the line a little to make sure they have at least as much room as they started with. I've checked the temp of the lines after I've been driving and they barely feel warm. And thanks about the install, it's a no brainer, it's nice knowing it's down there watching after my trans.
