Question Dome Light Removal

I just got the Recon LED dome lights and cargo/3rd brake light. Seems like a dumb question but how the heck do you get the dome light cover off without snapping the bugger? There's a slot on the back that looks like you pry from there. I tried fingers and a screwdriver but felt that I was going to break it so still don't have it off. Is there a trick or do I just break out a tube of elbow grease and have at it?

[BTW: thanks to the little lady for getting these for my birthday]

Figured it out myself (sorta). Just gotta pull down from the back pretty hard. The slot doesn't seem to accomplish anything. The cargo/3rd brake light looks pretty good but have to wait until sundown to see if it looks/works any better. The interior dome lights, on the other hand, are a complete waste (not even counting the a**pain removing the cover). They aren't the same size as the stock bulbs (in diameter, length is ok) and only one of the three would even light if I held them in place. I'm waiting to see Recon's reply. Now comes the true test of customer service.
