Edge Insight Install? - Diesel Forum

Hey guys. Quick question for you. I just got my Edge and am in the process of slapping it in my truck. Does anyone know how to remove that piece of plastic (that's vented) on the left side of the dash? It's where the data cable runs down between the vent and door jam to the OBDII port. I'm trying to hide the thing but not sure exactly what to do with the cable.

I believe when I did mine, it is just snapped in. Used a screwdriver to pry it enough to get fingers in. Went right back on no problem.

the piece on the end pops off, the piece on the front at the end with the AC outlet does not want to come off.

Make sure you use the EDGE mount/housing sold seperately
