I pull a heavy Toyhauler several times per year and found that I needed Airbags due to the high tongue weight associated with many Toyhauler Trailers. I purchased the Firestone Ride Rites with the compressor kit that allows me to fill the bags up from inside the cab. Installation went well until it came to mounting the guage bracket. Seems no matter where I put it, it was in the way and would get kicked, wasn't convenient or didn't look good along the really nice interior of our 2008s. I have chose to locate the guage and switches inside the console. Take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think. BTW, the box is made of stainless.

Very nice box. Where are you going to mount the box. I mounted my guage and switch under the cup holder. I used a piece of plywood 5/8" x ~1.5" x ~6" to lower the guage so it's readable, still hard to read I normally set the air bags pressure before I start out and normally leave it so there is no real reason to be able to read it while driving. I'll post some pics if I get a chance.

The compressor kit is Part #2219, the bags are PN 2264. I designed the box and had a friend build it for me. I'm mounting the box inside the center console. It will be easily accessible from the driver seat. I'm doing the install this weekend and will post pictures of the result later.

OOPS. Sorry, I've been in la-la land for a while. I'll get the pictures and post immediately. FYI, locating the box in the console is great. The switches are easily readable and within reach. Thanks for the interest.

Here you go...
The box has commercial velcro sticking it to the console so it won't move. Installation was quite simple. Nicest part is that it is easily accessible and useful.

Nice. Did you bring the lines in through the back of the cab and under the carpet? How did you route them up to the console? Are they still visible?
The lines went straight down through a 3/4" hole in the floor (Installed Grommet). Routed the lines between the body and insulation that is around the transmission, then to the frame rail to the compressor. No lines are visible since they are inside and below the box. Be careful if you do something similar since there is a wiring harness beneath the console that you surely want to avoid. Pulling the seats and console will take about 10-15 minutes total to make sure you drill in a place that doesn't cause you stress later. Total installation was about two hours. I recognize by the picture that I should have moved the blue microfiber towel so you could see how clean the install is. If I get a moment, I'll take more pictures with the console cleaned out.

Thanks for the info. Where did you guys buy your systems? Local or online? Did you get a good deal? I have been shopping around a bit online and haven't found what I would call a smokin' deal yet.
