First Diesel

Just got my first diesel a couple weeks ago. 2009 F250 FX4, love the truck. I want to put a cold air induction, exhaust( i dont want anything real loud just a little different sound, mainly for performance) and a tuner on it. I am wanting to hear everyone's opinion about which ones to go with. I'm looking to get better mileage and a little more performance. Thanks

First thing I would do is get it broke in before anything. Run it awhile to make sure all is ok with it first.

I am running the banks 6-gun and banks air ram. There is no need to upgrade either the air intake or exhuast unless you are going to tune the truck.

Banks 6-gun is a clean tune works with the current emissions stuff in place and maintain the factory safe limits of the motor. Does not offer big mpg gains but does make it run and perform better.

I would say put a few thousand miles on it first. then tune and exhaust it.

I have been looking at the Banks 6 gun and ram air and I like what I have seen so far, looks like everyone that has them likes them too. What type of exhaust should I go with? I dont want anything loud, just a low rumble. I will probably get about 10 to 12 thousand miles before I do anything.
