Has anyone successfully installed a Ford "Gold" (RMST/RKE/VSS customized Auxiovox / CODE Systems unit) on a 2009 F350 6.4?
There seems to be some question as to whether it can be done and a lack of documentation. The 2009 "Gold" installations instructions does not include an "F Super Duty" section, however the 2009 "Bronze" (RMST only) instructions do include "F Super Duty".
Unless someone has already done this and has information on it, it looks to be a very irritating reverse engineering install.
I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I've been thinking of getting the same factory remote start with keyless entry.Mine will be for a 5.4L Gas, but it should be the same I'd think.

I went through this confusion very recently when trying to get this system for my 08, apparently Ford changed some of the wiring on the 09 so the Gold RKE/RMST/VSS 6 button system cannot be installed on an 09, but does work on 08's....I verified this with the installer that installed mine, only thing you can do is add the remote start system itself and have 2 OEM key fobs, which stinks IMO

Sorry it was done at the Ford dealership where I bought the truck. It did take a full day for the install. It was done at Kelowna Ford, in Kelowna, B.C. Canada.
I ordeered something similair but just not sure what it is called. I know it will have a remote start, keyless entry and a proximity sensor. There are two features being assembled into one key fob as it is explained to me but not sure if there will be a digital key pad also.

Anyone have a Ford factory part number for this? I've installed aftermarket ones in the past, and would think that they might be allot more plug and play these days, thus easier to install...

I am getting my Ford 6 button remote start/alarm/keyless entry system installed on my 2009 F-450 Thursday the 12th. I will let you know how it turns out. I found a guy who does the installs for the Ford dealer ship in my area. He told me that for it to work on the 09 vs 08 is the Interface kit number. Thanks to Kerinator for the info confirming the part numbers that were installed in his truck. 7L3Z-19G364-AA = Remote Start & 8L3Z-19G365-BA = 2009 Interface kit. The guy gives a lifetime guarantee for the installation and is charging me $300 with all connections soldered. Hope it works like he says it will. He is also giving me a copy of the directions to change all the preferences if I want down the road and setting everything to my liking.

Can you post the instructions? I have a manual that came with it, but nothing about changing the settings in there. Mine has a TERRIBLE 60 second delay on the starter that I want to cut significantly.
I will post it after the install when he gives me a copy. He told me that 30 seconds is the shortest time you can have even though the glow plugs go out after about 5-10 seconds.
