My F-250SD has strobes in Headlights, Front Marker/Turn, Reverse, and Tail/Brake Light.
I chose to go with a Flange Mounting design that would facilitate removal if it was ever needed. Install time was about 30 minutes for all the light assemblys including removal and re-installation. Can't tell they are there unless you look real close.

Just drilled a hole using a step bit near the rear bottom of the light. I used a little silicon for water tightness but also made it removable for easy replacement. Actually the rear lights were harder do to the curved housings.

i wonder if the housing is the same. do you have an 08 or 2000?
b/c i cant do that with mine b/c their is an inner part and outer part...still confused...sorry.
The previous models were very easy to install. I think he is referring to his '00 model year. Those were super easy to install, not a 30 minute total job to complete all 4 corners, plus mount the power supply and run the wiring though.
The newer style looks to be a little different. I haven't looked at the rears yet on mine, but the fronts are sure a different design than previous years in regards to construction.
