HID's and dead SJB...

Well i have been running HID headlights since february and my right headlight quit the other day. checked fuses and all was good. So i took it to the dealer and the smart junction box died. Im thinking running the HID's without relays is not good for the SJB. Just wanted to spread the word....

hmm, glad i sprung for a good kit that came with a full harness/relay/ground setup. although i do have an issue with radio interference. i have hids in my fog lights and a bixenon kit for the headlights. the fogs do no interference, and they were the cheap kit, but my headlights will cause a bit of interference while listening to radio stations that are a bit out of range, like a station from a city approx 30miles away. ill turn the headlights on and the station will go to complete static. local stations come in fine, but they will fade out sooner than normal the farther i drive. anyone have an idea how i can shield the ballasts?

We use Hids on equiptment and when all is good they are great but when they act up gets pretty costly and not worth it in my book
