After all of the headache researching and researching. I was stuck with the delima of whether to spend more money on the lift or the tires and wheels. I decided to dump the cash on the wheels and tires. I am going in Monday to install the 6" Pro Comp Stage II lift with dual steering stabalizers. I decided to go with the 6" because I am always on the highway and never offroad. I don't want to worry about drag or axle wrap with the 8" lift. I went with Pro Comp because of my application. Again, I am only on the highway, and the Rize is built for a serious offroad application. Also, I figured 2500 was a lot better than 5,500. For wheels and tires I went with Toyo M/T 37x13.50x22, and Helo HE837 22x9.50. I went with these wheels because I have not seen many on trucks. Below is an image of what the end result should be close too.

WOW! 1500 installed? That is a great deal. Where did you find that? The rize radius arm lift parts are that much alone. I am going with a four link to replace the radius arms, but I really don't know the affects of replacing or not replacing the radius arms on the truck. Last time I did not replace my arms on my truck and it hit the coil when I hit bumps causing a lot of problems on the truck. Im sure it was just an iscolated problem though. That truck of yours looks pretty nice. Are those 37's on 22's?

It was at fourwheel parts. I haven't had any rubbing problems or anything of that sort and I can guarentee Rize would not release a product that had flaws like that. Yes I'm running 37's on 22's. The kit is defiantly a great product and I'd recommend it for sure.

Here are some more pics of my truck. I have been suprised on how well it rides. There is hardly any road noise, and I have not lost any power.

Are you still able to tow 12,500 lbs tag and 15,000 lbs on a 5th wheel with all this lift stuff? It seems to me it makes little sense to purchase such a large towing machine and make it unable to tow effectively. To each his own, and it is not my money, but am curious. I made myself a promise when I purchased this truck I would not alter the drivetrain in anyway.

Back to what you said it is pure preference. That is why I do it, and that is why everyone else on this site has done modifications. Most people who use this site are doing modifications, or are planning on doing mods. I bought the truck for show. I do not pull trailers. I guess the best answer is that I just can, and I will stick with that!!!

Well I Can't Comment On How An 08 Will Ide, But A Friend Of Mine Has An 05 With 24's And 38's And It Rides Like Crap! But I Dont Rack It All Up To The Tires And Rims, I Think It May Be More In The Lift. I Know Someone Else With A Cummins On 24's With 39's And His Ride Smooth! I Think You Need To Focus More On The Quality Of The Lift, Ofcourse The Size Of The Rim And Tire Will Alter Your Fuel Mileage, And The Type Of Tire Will Also Depend On Your Ride (mud Terrain, All Terrain Etc) Good Luck With It!
my lifted 08 rides a million times better than my lifted 05 and it is on the same 40s and 20s. i have had people get in my 08 and tell me how great it rides for a lifted truck and that they really couldnt tell that it was from inside.
