FWIW, proper suspension geometry and supple suspension travel which makes for a good off-road performance also translates to a stable and plush on-road performance.

Well like I said unless you plan on being off road more than on, its a waste. As for owning a diesel there are more reasons than just to haul stuff you would own one. Theres the proven fact that they will last longer, go further between repairs and tune ups. They also get better milage than a gas rig of the same size. So its not like a light switch you dont just buy a diesel for either needs or just to be cool. Its just a smart buy, now I cant say the same for an over priced off road lift kit. I mean come on the kit cost 1/4 what the truck cost, and these trucks arent cheap. It not my money so spend it how you want, he asked for oppions I gave mine. There are a lot less expensive and far more road friendly kits out there that wont ruin your ability to still use your truck like a truck.
