Scan Gauge I or II

I just purchased a 2008 F250 6.4 CC 4x4 KR. On my existing vehicles (97 Expedition and 02 Focus SVT), I use a Scan Gauge, mainly for MPG calculations. I am curious if anyone here uses a Scan Gauge with the 2008 6.4 diesel. I really like the trip and instantanious functions of the Scan Gauge.

Additionally, I am wondering if either the Scan Gauge or Edge Insight have the potential to void the Factory Warranty.

Thanks for any information that can be provided.

Vincent

I am running the scan gauge 2 on the 2008 6.4L, works awesome. It will not void your warranty as it only reads info and does not change it.

That's what I wanted/needed to hear. I ordered it last night.

I am curious if you have it "fixed" somewhere?

Thanks for the info.

Only spot I could find where it looked right and out of the way but practical is right on the steering console directly in front of the hazard light button. Use the velcro that comes with it, run the wires up behind the fuse panel cover and come up the console, works nice.
