Subwoofers in 2008 F250

Pyramid Audio claims they can put two 10" shallow subwoofers behind my rear seats. They have to build a custom box for each side to contain each 10" shallow sub. No cutting or removal of anything required. Has anyone else had subwoofers installed in their 2008? I'd love to see pictures. I've seen a picture of two subwoofers under the rear seat if you remove the folding "thing".
Can anyone post pictures of their subs behind their seat? Does anyone even have them? Please chime in.

I went and bought a JL slim setup. It is meant for trucks. It is a 8" W3 in a vented or ported box. I got it to fit behind my rear seat on the driver side very snug. I am using a JL 250x1 mono amp to power it. The bass this little thing puts out is outstanding for what it is. I will try and snap some pics and get you the part number of the sub as well tomorrow.

I have two kicker c 10's in a sealed box that fits behind the seat of our trucks with the power rear window. You have to either remove the rear vent on the back wall or modify the box. You also have to cut the back plastic wall for it too fit. I will take some picture's after I get back from school shopping. Bought it here

Birdman,
We're talking about subwoofers in a 2008 Super Duty. Your 2006 is set up different.

We would all love to see the pictures and I would love a part number as well. Thanks!

Here you go guys. When I installed this sub I had to remove the seat to fit it in. It is snug and does not move at all.. I also positioned the port toward the passenger side of the truck rather it face the rear speaker. On the JL Audio web site it does not show the sub with the grill over it. Mine DOES have it. Here is the link to the site with the sub, measurments, and some pics.

Instead of going behind the seat in my 2008 F250, (can't be done with a 10" or bigger without cutting and removal of your interior) I had a custom speaker box fitted for a 12" Boston G5 subwoofer. It sits directly behind the center console in the back seat area. They matched the carpet to mine so it looks pretty good. The speaker is face down with a gap for plenty of air. To be honest, this thing hits harder than I expected. It is much more than I need but it sounds so great! I can remove the box anytime with quick connections in case I need to fold up the seats and use the racks underneath. Check the pics...

I was able to get one slim Rockford Fosgate 10" box behind there but had to cut out the carpet on the wall on one side and reposition the bracket for the power rear window. It sounds great.

If you even bothered to look at the link that he provided, it says it fits the 2008.

You know what sucks about the 08's are that you have hardly ANY mounting depth for a decent speaker. Even a dang power acoustic won't fit in a damn 5.125" Mounting depth. I said hell with it, mounted my 1200 watt amp behind the seat, ran wires behind the seat with quick disconnects and have a 12" Eclipse Titanium in a single enclosure that sits on the seat...its a clean install and I don't mind it being there. When passengers ride, I disconnect the sub, tuck the wires, and in the tool box the sub goes.

The only problem with knocking so hard is I've noticed the vents that are in between the cab and the bed have been flexing hard, I don't want them to bust or possibly break a seal or something and let humidity in the truck, that happened to my previous F-150.

I also tied my amp into my upfitter switches rather than use the remote from my tv unit. The reason being I can say officer, I don't have any bass I guess it will be a pita with a sub in the back seat though haha! I plan on doing a clean install though for either a single 12" or dual 10". I found a box for around 150.00. That or it will hold like 3-4 8" subs...I forget. You have the option of picking what you want to mount in the box, which I think it cool.

I built a box with a 8" to fit under the passenger rear seat my 6 channel jl audio amp under driver side rear seat. i got rid of the fold out tray. I never used that thing. I have a 8' bed to put things . No cutting I still can use the storage behind seat and it sounds great.
