Truxxx leveling kit 08 f250

Im thinking about buying a truxxx leveling kit for my 08 f250. Does anyone have any experience with Truxxx (good or bad). It comes with front 2.5" spring spacer and a 1" rear block. Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks

IMO pure junk, Never stack blocks, gaining 2.5" and using short stock shocks you don't gain additional travel the quality kits give you. No castor plugs so your castor will be almost 0* and no adj track bar to recenter your axle after it shifted 1/2'3/4" from the lift.

Get a quality kit..Icon, RCD Bilstein BTS etc and you will be much happier.

Thanks for the input guys. Cary, i was thinking the same things with stacking blocks. Prob a bad idea. I would love to have an Icon lift but im on a pretty tight budget for this one. I was doing some reading today and came across a Readylift SST. Do you think this would be a good option? Im not bias toward any lift/leveling kit. Right now im running 35" Toyo MTs on stock rims.

Thanks

I am running the Readylift levelling kit. Its 2.5" front and I raised the rear of my F250 3" by replacing the factory 2" block with a 5". the Readylift uses a different track bar bracket to keep the axle centered and has carrier bearing shims. It uses front shock extenders which would help your budget. I will probably replace the stock shocks and the extenders with longer shocks when they need replacing. The one area where all these kits fail miserably IMHO is just like the previous poster mentioned. The truck loses all caster and steering is compromised with all the levelling kits. I added the caster cams to mine and its much improved -- some people may be happy with the lesser quality steering but I was not!
If doing again, I may still go the route I did with the added cams or just get a complete kit that has them from the start. My way was a bit cheaper initially as my truck was new so the shocks had life left in them. I was able to snag some F350 rear shocks and end links for the swaybar that were brand new from a guy who did a big lift kit.
Hope this helps!
BTW the Readylift components all appear well built!
I would like to ride in a truck with the progressive springs/better shocks in the Icon kit to compare ride quality to my set up.

BigShow, thanks for all of the helpful info. If you dont mind me asking, where did you get your caster cams? I think im gonna go with the Readylift SST. I will probably regret not putting a couple hundred more dollars in and getting a Icon kit and then installing 4" blocks, but i cant come up with the cash for it right now. I was reading on a couple of other threads and it seems like people are pretty happy with the SST lift. The issue that came up the most was a vibration in the rear when accelerating, but they said its an easy fix.

Thanks
