Weather Tech Floor Mats

I got my new tan Weather Tech floor mats in today and I must say that I am not impressed. It's completely my fault in some ways becasue I didn't do enough homework. First off, I thought that they would be heavy duty rubber not plastic, if that makes sense. The front fit good and overall are okay. The color is not too great of a match. It is close though I guess. The back is completely horrible. I can't believe they even sell something like that. I spent $215 on the set after shipping and everything and was just expecting a lot better. It must have been about $150 for the WeatherTech emblems on the sides. I'm sure they'll grow on me and I'll end up loving them but my initial reaction was very unimpressive. Just my opinion though.

I have the exact same mats. Got them at the end of last Winter, much better for protecting the carpet than the stock all weather mats....... in the front. I also agree with you statement about the rear mat. That's a lot of money for not very much. As to the material, if they were the rubber I don't think they could hold the shape as well.

Now if I can just get the kids to keep their feet on the mat in back !!

I should add, I do like them. Just a lot cash for that rear mat.

Man, I hate to hear that. I've always gotten good quality mats and stuff from them in the past.

i have them also and love them. Yeah the rear mat isnt really big enough but it keeps the dirt off the carpet from my kids. I dont understand what you were expecting out of the front set? They fit my truck perfectly and keep my carpet looking brand new not matter how dirty my shoes are. Yeah they arent a rubbery material however whatever they are they are made from is durable and easy to clean.

Day 2 with my mats and I am liking the front ones a lot more. Still not satisfied with the back. Don't get me wrong guys, they are a perfect fit in the front and look good. I was just expecting something different which is my fault. I'll end up loving them I'm sure. Just seemed like a lot of money for what I got. The back is just a flat piece with two little small sides that come up. The rest is not a fit. It's just some cut outs and curves for nothing. I guess in all I'm just unhappy with the rear.

As I mentioned in your previous thread... the rears look like after-thoughts to me and just wait until these have a little age on them and see what you think.

The mats for the FX4 are rubber and very heavy duty. The rear mat covers the floor from side to side in one piece.

I imagine they're only available in black. The coverage is quite good.

Robert I hate to hear your not happy with your mats since I spoke so highly of mine. I have really enjoyed mine. Hope they grow on you and atleast they will keep your carpet looking new.

Anyone have pics of the Weathertechs installed? I like the sounds of them but would like to see what they actually look like.

I saw the website, but it looks like generic pictures, not necessarily the actual mats installed in these trucks. I would like to see some actual pictures.
