Will They Fit?

Just found a set of 35x12.5x20 toyo open country mt tires on craigslist.

The tires are CHEAP because they have "55%" tread left. Less than $200. No patches, have not seen yet, but suppose to have "good wear."

Planning on mounting these on my stock 20s.I am still deciding on whether or not to buy aftermarket rims, and figure this would be a good way to judge if I want to spend the money in future.

The truck in my sig is not lifted or leveled. Can I fit these on my truck with no lift?

Looked on Toyo's site and 2 snags: 1. they are listed as 13.5" width. Do they make 12.5" or does this guy not know the size of tire?
2. recommended for 8.5" width wheel (mine being 8").

Anybody have experience putting 35s on '08 with NO lift?
Thanks,
CJ

I think a leveling kit will be your best bet. YOu might be able to fit them on stock wheels with no lift or leveling kit but I promise you will get some rubbing.

On my '08 I just mounted 35x12.5 on 2007 King Ranch 20's and they look and drive great, I was concerned also because the manufacturer recommended at least an 8.5" rim. My tire guy assured me they do it all of the time with no problems.

On a separate '08 I just mounted some BFG's that pencil out to 35" and needed to trim a little of the inner portion of the fender liner. Other than that, they fit and look good. Hope this helps...Jeff

Great! Now I realize that my stock tires "pencil out" to 34". Even if there's a little rub with 35s, I think I will live. I'll let you know how it goes.
