2008 Amarillo?

Does anyone know if ford is offering the yellow color as an option in 2008. On the ford site it is not listed however I have seen two on ebay for sale new. I am wondering if they were aftermarket or factory. The seller claimed it was factory. I would really like to order a new one in yellow.

Nope. Neither the yellow nor the Amarillo pkg is available in the latest order guide for a SuperDuty pickup.

If someone is selling 2008 yellow SuperDuty pickups, they probably spent over $5,000 for a complete custom paint job.

My favorite color is Starlight Blue. It's off-white with just a touch of baby blue. When seen alone, it looks white. But park it next to a white vehicle and it is definitely blue. Ford had it 20+ years ago, but they don't have it now. Great color for the bright sunshine desert where you need a very-light color but don't want ordinary white.

It seems that the automakers are just going with the tried & true..
Ford has experimented with a couple different looks. Violet , Yellow and Sonic Blue being the most recent, but they went away fast.

There may be hope though, Ford has experimented with some whites as of late. White Chocolate tri-coat, Creme Brule'e and another off white that I can't remember.
The White Chocolate is a Lincoln Color. Very nice and another $500.00 more.
