Nice new features on the 09'....I have been casually looking at 08's as I need to get into a crew cab, but I am going to wait a few months now. Thanks for the post!

I love this place already... came in looking for a gallery so I could finalize the color selection for the '08 F250 I was planning to order... and found this thread.

I will most definitely wait for the '09's now - my biggest beef with the '08 is that you can't get the black FX4 interior in the Lariat...

I checked with my dealerperson this morning, and the 2009 order guides are not yet available for download from the FordDealerConnection website.

I suspect that since production of 2009s has been delayed until August, then Ford is in no big hurry to release the order guides.

Smokey,

thank you for checking. Still it would be beneficial for them if they take orders. Otherwise some customers will turn away.

btw. congratulation for crossing 30k

Kim

Sill no fence to jump and its close to Sunday. What is wrong here. Also checked the Whatsnew 09. On page 24 it says

Mirrors
• Exterior mirror lineup changes - deletes
Power Aero Mirror.

Does that mean the power trailer tow mirrors are gone?

Jim

I don't know. There was no such standard or optional mirror in the 2007 order guide. So I suspect it was the not-telescoping power exterior mirrors that were standard on the XLT, and being replaced by the telescoping mirrors that were optional on the XLT.

Who in their right mind would order a SuperDuty without the telescoping trailer-tow mirrors?

Yes, this could be a good explanation. Does anybody know whether Bobby has a V10 for a testdrive?

I've seen a bunch DOT branded of stripped govt bid models up here with the power 'aero' mirrors. Of all uses, I would think that the govt trucks should have the trailer tow mirrors though...

If those trucks are like the ones we have on the Marine Base here, the drivers are NOT allowed to tow anything. Most even have the hitch removed if it came with one. So no need for the tow mirrors.
