Let him go. But on one side he is right. The V10 is a damn good and reliable engine from what I read here for years.

Not trying to bash Ford just their diesel.Been there done that with a 04 6.0L.If Ford has such great diesels why change ever 2-3 years.They sure keep their 5.4 and 6.8 though.And to Surveyor13, "I'm your Huckleberry"

My 2005 6.0 is a very nice engine. No troubles whatsoever. But really loud. But yes, Ford / Int. should have done better.

So. If you don't have a Ford diesel and you did not come here to bash Ford, why did you come here , as your posts have been no help to anyone?

It's called emissions requirements. Same reason Cummins developed the 6.7L for Dodge not because of a lack of design capabilities. I would like to know one thing. If our trucks suck so bad why come over here and read about them?

I really like Ford Trucks thats why.My first truck was a 1995 F-150 with the bullet proof straight-6,5-speed.If I ever buy another gasser I know I'll buy a Ford.But you can get a Dodge cheap here in Texas and a Cummins is the only diesel I'll drive.Later guys.
