Anyway to order an option that is "Fleet Only" - Diesel Forum

So I really want to carpet delete option (rubber mat instead) on the XLT. It is listed as a Fleet Only option. Aside from buying a fleet of trucks

is there anyway to get a fleet only option on a build?

Talk to your dealer's fleet manager. He may be able to order the vehicle for a fleet customer, then somehow sell it to you instead of to the fleet customer he ordered it for. That's a favorite tactic for folks that want the firm ride and heavy-duty upholstry of a "police special" Crown Vic but are not a member of any cop shop. Of course they also get dog-dish hubcaps, but that's easily remedied with aftermarket wheels.

But if not, then you can buy the vinyl floor covering for an XL from the parts department, install it yourself, and save the carpet to reinstall before you trade in the truck a few years down the road.
