I got this email from Ford about customer satisfaction. In the email they knew which dealer I used and what I bought......I never gave my dealer my email address? Weird. Anyone else have this happen?

Nope. I have never mentioned the dealer. When on line I am careful with personal info. I'll give some out, but not enough to put the puzzle together.

well, that too is a lesson to behold.. to get this pages up.. i think I had to add an email address.. in fact, I think I get hits in myh email when i get replies to posts....or it may be the other socal forum..
I know I get them in Jeepforum also. I never applied for them either so when they started showing up I thought it a bit strange. hummm

Did you register for MyFord? Oops, Ford now calls it FLMOwner. I guess that's short for FordLincolnMercuryOwner. Lots of info there, but it's online, so you need an e-mail addy to register so you can receive recall notices and other important poop. BTS tranny; Ford Severe Duty Air Induction System (AIS); 4" stainless turbo-back exhaust; DP-Tuner tunes flashed into an Edge Evolution tuner; ISSPRO EV gauges and Turbo Temp Monitor (TTM); Auxiliary Idle Controller (AIC); SP-Diesel exhaust brake and torque converter controller. Top Job front end replacement. I special-ordered it new and plan to drive it until it quits.

Nope. The only thing I did was contact Ford via their Contact Us link about getting a 2010 F250 Brochure (just want one for my records). I explained my dealer did not have any for my new 2010. However, I did not mention which dealer I used. All they (Ford's website) had was my name and email, no specifics about the truck or my address. I can't imagine that they matched my name to my Dealer's order and then ASSUMED that this Mr. Miller was the same as another Mr. Miller that ordered a truck from a nearby dealer. That would be bad practice on their part in my opinion.
