Hydroboost brakes are standard with the diesel engine. Vacuum boost brakes are standard with gasoline engines. Diesels don't make vacuum, so vacuum-powered brakes are not available with the diesel engine.
Ford played around with vacuum-powered brakes on diesel-engined trucks a coupla years ago, but I don't think they ever made it to market. The required big vacuum pump was probably too expensive.

Reason: clarify
On the OBS trucks, we have a vacuum pump. The OBS F-450 (Super Duty Mono-Beam front axle) had the hydrpboost set up.
The reason I asked was when you clicked on the "details" on Fordvehicles for the dual alternator, it stated hydroboost brakes comes with the dual alternators.

Which is true, but in a round-about way.
Dual altenators are available only with a diesel engine. So if you have dual altenators, then you'll have hydroboost. But it's because of the engine and has nothing to do with the altenators.
Apparently the webpage designers are geeks who don't know much about Ford SuperDuty trucks.
