last call for help on loss of incentives?

Well after 4 months of waiting...my truck will finally be at the dealer tomorrow sometime. I was just curious if anyone had any idea if there is anyway to make a claim or argument with ford for the loss of over 1500 in rebates...due to a massive delay on fords part??

i placed the order for my truck on OCT 6 with an expected delivery time of mid to late december...

i would have been eligible for $5000 in rebates the entire month of december and half of jan...

now im eligible for $3500. I understand about rebates at time of delivery etc. I know 1500 bones shouldnt make the difference between buyingh a truck or not. But, the bottom line is that because it took Ford 4 months to get me a truck it cost me 1500 bucks. Just doesnt seem quite right to me. Just curious if anyone had a similar experience recently...or did anything about it.

Thanks.

Get the 0% financing, I have been waiting for a long time for the cash bonus to go up and I think I'd rather take the 0%. It's hard to turn down free money, that all you have to do is payback and not worry about interest.

i hear it, but i have 3.0 percent from a credit union so...not really a huge savings...the cash back would help substantially...

40,000 divided by 60 months at 3.0 will give you payments at about $719.

40,000 divided by 60 months at 0 will give you payments at about $660. Not a ton of saving but still 60 bucks a month and over 60 months that is about $3600. Not bad at all if you ask me.

I would explain your situation to the dealer and ask for contact information for your district office. I had a situation about 10 years ago with a Ford car that I was invoiced incorrectly for by a few thousand. The dealer was notified of the price change and informed me. He said he could not sell below his cost and I had to take it up with the district. I sent them a letter stating my case and ownership history of Ford products and they honored the original price.
