Cool Taking Delivery without Remote Start?

Hello Everyone,
I managed to find a truck on a dealers lot that came close (enough) to what I was looking for. I managed to get the dealer to through in a remote starter. The dealer had to pick it up in CT and bring it back to RI. I guess that took to long and the guy installing the remote start couldn't wait. Anyway, I'm planning on picking up the truck tomorrow and then bringing it back after the holiday to get it installed. Does this sound OK? I know I prob should wait until it is installed to pick up the truck but if remote start is listed on the Bill of Sale will I be OK?
Thanks
Jim

Yeah, just have the dealer make up a "due bill"..It's a work order of sorts that explains what the dealer needs to do to. It's a way of making the sale and doing the work requested later. I have done it a few times with new and used vehicles..

I bought my truck from finishline ford in Statesville NC. Remote start was to be added. Well, they got the starter kit but the PATS module was backordered and the contractor that does it has a sick kid and the IRS is auditing him so he can't be here unitl a week from Saturday but that Xmas Saturday and his wife is going shopping. But he can make it the fourth week in January on Wed the 29th at 2pm.

DONT DO IT. The only power you have is payment and once you've made that you are screwed.

I drove 400 miles one way TWICE to get mine done and the idiot tech didn't program it to work with keyless pad, has the horn turned on to beep when it starts and didn't program it so I could unlock it while its in starting cycle.
