Thinking of ordering a '10......

So, I was all set to get the XL sitting on the lot (still might?) But then I got talking to my wife. For a few thousand more (msrp to msrp) I can get a 2010 built the way I really want it. I have never bought a brand new vehicle...ever. So, if I order a 2010, what are my chances of getting them down on the price? The '09 I am able to buy out the door (taxes, title, tags, etc.) for about $4500 off the MSRP. When you figure sales tax, etc. they actually came off the MSRP by about 6K. This was with very little to no "haggling". Also, if I order a truck, how long does it usually take to ownership of it?

I've ordered the last several vehicles I've owned. If you go in knowing exactly what you want, complete with the invoice cost and ask for the fleet manager, you can get it at or near invoice cost.

If you know any one you can probably get a X-plan pin, but I would take a look at the following forum for more information on X-plan's and such.

Thanks. I friend of mine is a Ford Master Tech. I just left him a message to see if I can get a pin. I'll check out the link closer too.
