Urgent....need info of Camper + Snow Plow Package....ordering in Morning!

Thought I had everything figured out. But one more thing. I plan to get the Camper Package to gain the swaybar and overload leaves. I also understand this comes with an upgrade to the front springs. I also have been advised to get the snow plow package (I will NOT have a plow, but might add a bumper later and possibly larger tires) I understand this package will add the HD fan clutch and also 1 step up in spring rate over other selected packages. So I will have 2 rates higher in the front than base for the V-10 I'm ordering.
The truck without either package is a 9800 GVWR. Will either of this packages (either seperate or together) change my GVWR as I don't want 10,000 or higher.
Also, will this makes the truck sit level, or nose high? How about the ride? I drove one with the snow plow package and thought it rode fine, but not sure about Snowplow and camper packages together.

Thanks,
Jerry

Well. I slept in so I'm probably too late. But I doubt you can order the snowplow pkg and the camper pkg on the same truck. The camper pkg includes the heavy service suspension pkg, and the snowplow pkg cannot be ordered with the heavy service suspension pkg - becaause you'd be including the upgraded front suspension twice.

But I've been wrong before in trying to interpret Ford's order guides, so holler back and tell us what you found out from the dealer.

I beg to differ, Smokey, but my 2008 F-250 sticker shows both the Camper package and the Snow Plow package, one above the other. I'd be happy to send you a copy. Ford could have changed their policy since I ordered mine in July 2007, but according to my dealer and my window sticker, it is possible to have both the Camper and Snow Plow packages on the same truck.

Yeap....I ordered both packages today. 9800# F250 CrewCab Longbed 4x4 XLT with Stone Leather in the Hunter Green with camper and snow plow package. I WAS going to order black, but I chickened out. I saw the amount of orange peel on the black trucks and decided I didn't like it.
What's funny is I will NEVER have a snow plow or a camper, but I wanted the swaybars, over load springs, heavy duty altenator, etc. and for less than 200 bucks I got it. This is going to be the longest 6-8 weeks on my life!

Typically what happens is they apply the upgrades of one pkg, then the second - you conceivably end up getting marginla to nothing for the second pkg because you got all they would do with the first.

The order guide should tell you.

I might be out of place but I was just checking out the 6.4 site. I ordered my 2006 with the snow plow and camper package and this was the cheapest way to get the sway bars and the overload springs in the rear. They each offered an upgrade of the front springs but I was told that only one upgrade would apply and my truck rides great and even better with a load. Glad I ordered it this way and will do it again if and when I decide to buy another.
