X-plan?

How much can you save and does anyone have one they don't need?
I'm being quoted $55,000.00 OTD for a fully loaded 2010 CC 4x4 Lariat.
Seems a little high? This is in Ca. so everything is a little high! Thanks...

From what I understand, 6-10% depending on MSRP. I was right at 6-7 K off then a 3500 dollar additional incentive, but with taxes and all I ordered on it which is just less than a kitchen sink, it is right back to $64000.00 maybe.

Depends on how good a negotiator you are. The X-Plan price is a little less than invoice price, which is about 10 percent less than MSRP.

I looked at a sticker today for a 2010 F-250 Lariat 4x4 CrewCab shorty with diesel, automagic, Platinum paint, ESOF, tailgate step and the lariat Plus pkg. I'd call that pretty much fully loaded. MSRP was 54,700. X-Plan price should be about $49,300. Plus TT&L, minus any Ford rebates or incentives. Plus the dealer is limited on how much "dealer pack" such as documentation fees he can add on to the X-Plan price.

Quote:
and does anyone have one they don't need?
All X-Plan PINs are tied to the SSAN of the person who received it. So no one else can use it, therefore no one can give you their PIN. If you want one, you'll have to get your own under your SSAN. If you don't work for a Ford Partner company, then any Ford employee can give you an X-Plan PIN.

After you have an X-Plan PIN, then any dealer willing to sell you a truck under X-Plan must show you the invoice. The X-Plan price is right there on the invoice, so you have nothing to worry about.

Unless you have a trade-in. The X-Plan price is for the new truck. But if you have a trade in, then you're right back to the negotiating table to determine how much real cash money they will give you for your old hoopy. On an X-Plan deal, don't expect more than actual auction value for your old ride. You're usually better off selling your old ride yourself.

My current quote is- Sticker of $56,700.00 After working a few minuets on them it is now at $55,115.00 OTD. Would X-plan be better? They are giving $3,000.00 in rebates and the rest I guess is on them... All this only works if someone is willing to give there info and pin for free?

your right up the road from me. I went to Bobby w. down in Fontana at Sunrise to get the best deal I could get. Locals at Burke did not even talk to me..they just would not call me back, two of them!

That being said.. give B. williams a call as he can explain and better yet get you some inexpensive pricing. He just told me that the incentive on the 2010 is now $3500.00 Example. I went back to the Reese 24K retro receiver fifthwheel hitch in my new F450. Price installed..his price to me was under 1500.00 ...about 1445.00

I bought my first one all the stuff; head , body, rails for a price of close to 1300.00 with shipping. The assembly/install with me trying to help cut costs was 300.00. These prices where in 2004!

My truck came out to $61,000.00. that is with X plan and incentive plus Taxes. With all the goodys, it will most likely be right at $64500.00 It is a grip of cash but I have been saving for 2 years and this is my last truck. I wanted it all. I didn't expect the X or the incentive.. so I am happy. Hope you get what you want for the price you want.

Good luck

Thanks for the info. I won't deal with Burke for several reasons so my quote is from the Shafter dealer "pretty good guys to work with". I bought my 04 from them. I'm really tempted to buy a chevy but I fell back in love with ford trucks after sitting in a loaded 2010! They have come a long way in 6 years...

so to share my x-plan experience:

2010 f-350 lariat cc shortbed srw 6.4psd
the only options it does not have are the camper package, pto option, and heavy service package.

msrp is around 60 with all of the options i selected.
dealer price is at 55 otd with my trade in (6k rolled in from trade) no cash down.

after ttl i am cutting a check for 59ish.

i am not pushing the dealer for the exact x-plan price since they are giving me a great price for my over mileage trade (and I found out about x-plan after i had already ordered the truck).

so 49ish before ttl fully loaded without going to the kr or harley edition i think is a good price.

my experience with this puts me at 2k under what people are paying according to edmunds.

hope this info helps!

I was so close to going up to Holiday.. thats it right? I have heard nothing but good. That being said, I had seen Bobbys posts and heard his name many many years before I bought through him. I knew he could make some good things happen and he did not dissapoint.

Yes I will pay a bit over $64K maybe 65K but I had a little over 60 in my 02 after all the aftermarket mods. And I didn't have Nav, rearview camera Sat radio.. and all the other great KR features. This new truck has almost 1.5 more GCWR more power, more torque, and that 4:30 as \opposed to the 3:73. I will pull 16K fiver. which I would keep at about 14K with old powerstroke.

I knew I would not want to pull all over this great country of ours with that much weight on old school ratings. I am looking forward to getting out and traveling.

It is just that awesome! I have about 5-7 days to pick up.

no hijack.. it is all good talking about our trucks.. I think I hear ya pounding your chest..you should be. I know I am!

I am waiting too. In fact, today I ordered the Signature Series 30K gooseneck adapter for the truck. I have the 24K Reese retro head fifthwheel hitch so the gooseneck will pull my lowboy trailer. Both will fit into the pucks which are part of the under bed rail kit.

Here is a consideration that either most know and do not talk about or they don't know period.
I had to order the 2.5 inch drop hitch for my F-450 today from Bobby W. I didn't know that the 450 didn't come with the standard 2" tube receiver. This monster has a 13K rating so it makes sense to make it big.

Funny thing I read.....my lowboy GOOSENECK is rated at 13K! The super duper high rated 13K class V standard rear receiver must be some piece of equipment. I think I will choose the gooseneck for those ratings too ( as somebody else mentioned, I cannot take the credit for it. )

I too will post pictures when I get it and all the mods added.

I will say this. since Nav was not an option, I bought a system ..(the Eclipse with 36 months warranty) with a Nav, blue tooth ,DVD, Sat and rear view camera which will work while driving down the road. many voice activated features.

I do plan on pulling a low boy so I will be able to see what my load is doing when I want to.. no shut down when not in reverse.

just out of curiousity, what options did you get?

mine are the spray in bed, the 24K hitch, a tool box and 65 gallon fuel tank combo..which in Ca has to have a timer, mine is 15 minute 1.5 GPM shut down. On qtr. tank the light goes off, and I hit the button.. done.. feuling as we drive. so I don't forget, after 15 minutes.. done .. shut off. It is a law here but it works for me!

And I told you about entertainment provided by Eclipse.

That is a beautiful set-up. Hey, we are all pulling something. That was the intent of our trucks. Funny thing is it doesn't matter what, the trucks are so capable it could be a little trash trailer to my 16K fiver or what Skup was hauling..the 20K fiver.. with some GCWR on the sidelines.. still works beautifully.
