Seeing 11mpg mixed driving here in the northeast. 4.10's. Truck has 37,000 miles. Oh, new guy here--Hi!
Hello G1625S. You're seeing about the same MPG that I'm seeing overall. I'd like to get better, but at $1.88/gallon for gas vs. $3.19 to $3.39 for diesel right now, I'm not complaining.

2008 F350 V10 Mpg gets lower mpg than my 6.4l F450. I get 13-14 in city and 11-13 highway. pulling a 18000 lbs Toy hauler trailer around 8 mpg both City or Highway
well you are one of the lucky ones, one of the very few that get mileage. i have your same truck, mileage is horrible. i love the truck, pulls like a truck should. but i think if ican save more than 7k by going v10 stick from 6.4 auto, and then save even just a little on fuel and lots on oil changes, i will be ahead of the game.

Pappy? Pappy? Oh, Pappy? Are you there? What's your current mileage now? Still at 11-12mpg? I'm reviewing the V-10 as my next option. Now that Ford cut their payloads again on the new 2009 F-150, I may have to consider an F-250 Superduty V-10 when my 2008 F-150 Supercrew hits the blocks in spring. It'll be hard to get out of this King Ranch... I love the interior, but my 7,000# travel trailer could use a bigger towmate. The 6.4L costs too much for my use, but the V-10 could be an option. I'd stay in the 150's, but the payload stretches me to the limits when pulling my trailer.
Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, I'm still getting 11-12 mpg when I'm not in 4-wheel drive due to the snow and ice currently here. I had to drive to baker City, Oregon last week, about 135 miles one way, and coming back when I filled up I checked the mileage/gallons and had gotten 12.6. I have to admit that due to fog, I had to slow it down a bit, and the mileage showed an improvement. Goes to show you that your foot has more to do with mileage than the engine. I have 31k on the odometer and this V-10 and 4.10 rear is doing everything I had hoped for and more. No regrets on anything.
