Which exhaust? - Diesel Forum

I am ready for a catback on my 2008 V-10, what is the right exhaust for me? I want a dual exhaust that does not drone and something that sounds good when you get on it. I have searched and know that it is hard to get the right sound from a V-10 but wondering if there is anything new to the market. Thanks for any info.....

Everything that I have read is that an exhaust upgrade from the factory setup from 2006-present actually will decrease your power output. The only 2 things that will help the power and mileage is an intake like AirRaid and a programmer like DiabloSport Predator. All the tests that I have seen on the exhaust is to save your money as all you will gain is a funky sound and less power.

Not really looking for a power increase, just a better exhaust note if possible, which from what I have heard will be a crapshoot, that is why I am searching for answer.
